How to Remove Pages From a PDF

Select the pages you do not need and save a new copy. The remaining pages are not rendered or recompressed.
One caveat matters if the removed pages were sensitive. Delete Pages takes them out of the document, but the file can still contain their images. When the content has to be gone, use Extract Pages to keep only what you want.
How to do it
- Choose the PDF.
- Select the pages you do not need, or type a range.
- Check that at least one page will remain.
- Save the edited copy.
- Open it and check that page numbers and references still make sense.
Use Delete Pages when
You want most of the document and the pages you are dropping are blank, duplicated or simply not needed. Delete keeps bookmarks, form fields and document properties, and leaves the pages you keep exactly as they were.
Use Extract Pages when
The removed content must not travel with the file, or you need a smaller file. Extract builds a new PDF from the pages you keep, so nothing from the others is carried along. Delete Pages can leave the removed pages’ images inside the file.
Do not treat deletion as redaction
Removing a page takes the whole page out of view. It does not hide words on a page you keep, and it is no substitute for a proper redaction workflow.
A table of contents, a printed page number or a line such as “see page 12” does not update when a page goes.
Frequently asked questions
Can I undo it after downloading?
Keep the original. The download is a new copy, so you can go back to the source if you removed the wrong page.
