Convert to PDF
Turn images and Office documents into a PDF.
Start with the file you already have. Choose the image, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint converter that matches it. Image conversions run in your browser; Office conversions use PDFOak’s server and delete the temporary copy when the request finishes.
- JPG to PDFTurn a pile of photos into one ordered PDF.
- PNG to PDFCombine PNG images into a single PDF with page ordering.
- Word to PDFConvert Word documents into PDF.
- Excel to PDFConvert spreadsheets into print-ready PDFs.
- PowerPoint to PDFConvert presentations into PDF.
Match the converter to your file
Photos and scans go through JPG to PDF or PNG to PDF, documents through Word to PDF, spreadsheets through Excel to PDF, and decks through PowerPoint to PDF. Use PNG for screenshots, flat colour and transparent backgrounds, and JPG for photographs.
The two image tools run in your browser. The three Office tools upload your file, so each of those pages says so above its file picker. The privacy page lists which is which.
Where the result can still surprise you
Fonts cause most of it. If the server does not have the typeface your document uses, it substitutes a similar one, and that can change line widths and move page breaks. For exact pagination, stick to fonts that ship with most systems or export the PDF from the application that made the file.
A spreadsheet follows its own saved print setup, so set the print area before you convert. Slide animations flatten into a single static page.
