About this site
PDFOak is a set of free PDF tools made by Brellix. You do not need an account, and 15 of the 22 tools process your document on your own device.
Why the tools run in your browser
Most PDF jobs, such as compressing, merging, splitting, rotating or locking a file, do not need a server. Doing them in the browser means your document never leaves your computer, so there is nothing for us to store, log or lose. The few conversions that do need server software say so on their own page before you pick a file.
How tools get added
A tool is added when it does a real job well, not to fill out a list of format pairs. Each one has its own page explaining what it does, where your file goes and what it cannot do.
Questions, bug reports and suggestions are welcome on the contact page.
