PDF to PowerPoint
One slide per page, with editable text and tables or an exact picture.
This tool uploads your file for conversion and deletes the temporary copy when the request finishes. What happens to your files
This tool uploads your file to a server to convert it.
Your file is uploaded to a server for this conversion. It is written to a temporary directory, used, and deleted before the response is sent — within seconds, in the same request. It is never written to a database, an object store, or a queue, and it is never logged.
What survives: Editable slides: every line of text becomes a text box you can retype, tables become real PowerPoint tables, and the page's graphics sit behind them as a picture. Choose Exact look for a pixel-perfect, uneditable picture per slide instead.
A quick browser check runs when you start.
How it works
- Read the live upload and retention statement.
- Choose a PDF, pick Editable slides or Exact look, and start conversion.
- Download the PPTX and check slide geometry.
Key benefit
Editable slides with real text boxes and tables, or an exact picture of each page.
Supported files and key limits
Input: PDF. Output: PPTX.
Editable slides are rebuilt from the page, so check the layout; Exact look cannot be edited.
What you get
One PDF page becomes one slide, sized to match the page. By default the slides are editable: the text sits in text boxes you can retype, tables become real PowerPoint tables, and the graphics of the page sit behind them as a picture.
Choose Exact look instead and each slide is a high-resolution picture of the page. It looks identical to the PDF, and nothing on it can be edited in PowerPoint. That suits presenting a document as it stands, or dropping pages into a deck as exhibits.
If you need to edit the content
Keep Editable slides, and check the result: a PDF does not record which marks formed a paragraph or a table, so text boxes and tables are rebuilt from position and spacing and can need tidying. For long running text, converting to Word gives you real paragraphs to copy from. If you only need the pages as pictures, for a review or an email, use PDF to JPG, which runs in your browser with no upload.
Before you convert
Slides take the shape of the PDF page, so a Letter-sized document gives Letter-shaped slides instead of being cropped into a default frame. The converter refuses a password-protected PDF, so remove the password with Unlock PDF first.
This one uploads your file
PDFOak uploads the PDF, converts it, and deletes the temporary copy when the request finishes. If only some pages should leave your device, use Extract Pages to keep just those pages before you convert. The privacy page lists which PDFOak tools upload.
