How to Convert PDF Pages to JPG
By PDFOak · Published September 9, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026
Select the pages you need, choose a resolution, and export them as JPG images. The images preserve the page’s appearance but not its searchable text, links, forms, or accessibility structure.
A single page downloads as one image instead of a zip.
How it works
- Choose the source PDF.
- Select one page, a range, or every page.
- Pick 72 DPI for previews, 150 DPI for normal screens or 300 DPI for detail.
- Set the JPEG quality and export.
- Open the images and check small text and colour.
Choose a resolution for the job
A higher DPI gives more pixels and larger files. 72 DPI suits thumbnails, 150 DPI is a practical screen default, and 300 DPI keeps more detail for print or close review.
Resolution cannot add detail that a low-quality source scan never had.
What a JPG leaves behind
A JPG is a flat image. Search, copy and paste, links, annotations, forms, bookmarks and accessibility structure do not carry into it. Keep the PDF for recipients who need the document’s behaviour and not just a snapshot of it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I export just one page?
Yes. Select that page and it downloads as a single image.
